Hellcat es una productora que montaron los Rancid,(una escision de la Epitaph),aunque no estoy muy seguro lo que tiene que ver con la de Madonna,QUE NO RECUERDO CUAL ES,pero es una de las tochas y millonarias.Los Rancid prefirieron montarse la suya propia,"rechazando"una gran oferta de la diosa Madonna.Ademas lo puse,porque aparece el fallecido Joe Strummer(de los Clash)con su banda,Los Mescaleros,(entre muchos otros grupos del sello HELLCAT)PuNk,a ToPe.El video esta dirigido por Tim Armstrong,de los Rancid.En fin,Joe Strummer R.I.P.

La batalla de Argel es una película filmada en blanco y negro que retrata los orígenes, el desarrollo y el fin del enfrentamiento entre el Frente de Liberación Nacional (FLN) de Argelia y las autoridades coloniales francesas en la ciudad de Argel entre 1954 y 1957, con un rápido salto final que conduce hasta el momento de la independencia de Argelia en 1962. Para ello, sigue los pasos de uno de los más destacados activistas de la casbah de Argel, Omar Alí La Pointe, desde sus años de juventud en los que se gana la vida como trilero y macarra hasta su muerte en septiembre de 1957, acorralado por las tropas paracaidistas francesas. Tras la dolorosa derrota de Dien Bien Phu, la Legión Extranjera francesa tiene algo que probarse a sí misma. La oportunidad de hacerlo parece estar en Argel, una de las colonias galas más cercanas a la metrópoli pero cuyos habitantes han entrado definitivamente en el camino de la independencia. Así, argelinos y legionarios se enzarzarán en una brutal contienda, en la que la tortura, la traición y el asesinato serán las armas más empleadas. Un filme comisionado por el gobierno argelino que intenta mostrar la guerra de la independencia de ese país desde la perspectiva de ambos bandos. Rodada con un estilo semi-documental y ganadora de numerosos premios (entre ellos el León de Oro y el FIPRESCI del Festival de Venecia), la cinta pretende ser una reflexión sobre cómo la guerra embrutece a todos aquellos que participan en ella. Filmada íntegramente en Argelia, fue dirigida por el realizador italiano Gillo Pontecorvo y su reparto estuvo formado, mayoritariamente, por actores de argelinos.
