Berlin, September 19, 2009. The wall fell yesterday: The wall of harsh reality (Die Wirklichkeit), the wall of routine and lack of feelings, the wall of the damned day-to-day monotony. Stone walls fall, but mental walls are still there, constantly challenging us, reminding us that without them we might run the tremendous irresponsibility of being, and feeling, free.

Unfortunately, indolence is multilingual and speaks all world languages, but so does dreaming. When Redretro™ does not know it: It learns it. If there is no time to learn it: it asks. If there are no answers: it makes it up...

Yesterday was an instant that took place years ago. And today, after a small oniric assault, we have built the first nodes under the city of Berlin. The wall fell a while back, but the painful reality barriers are still up and threatening our lives. But the Network of Oniric Transportation keeps on advancing. Berlin is an amazing city, and we are well aware that it already has underground passageways leading to wonderful places. But the city needed certain nodes to connect it with the rest of the world, the rest of the oniric and subverted world of hyperreality. Ready, set... Dada! ™ (Operative P) We are already inside!! Diving in the depths of hyperreality.Dilettanten gegen die kunst revoltier.

Alex guides us through the U-Bahn´s inner works. Night is cradling us in her metro wagons, smelling of camphor and hot Turkish spices. These life closets do not sleep during the weekend. Millions of characters offer us their life, projected frame by frame as if it were a slow motion movie with a dark tunnel as the backdrop. Here in Berlin people go around the metro and the street with their beer bombers, which add a certain sense of permanent partying. Users from all over the world eat, sleep, drink, laugh, love, hate, and make love in this subterranean labyrinth of passion.

Dog and bikes are welcome in this tube. We love it right away. It so self-evident that in a city with dogs and bikes they are welcome under the skin of the U-Bahn. Berlin is a calm city that hides creative bombs ready to go off in plenty of its corners. Drunks, bottle seekers, fashion victims, screaming queens, veddettes with no sleep, soccer fans, nazis, jews, Blacks, Chinese, Turks, Spaniards, and bikes, plenty of bikes, coexist gently under the earth. Metro is expensive, one of the most expensive in Europe. But it does not matter, because nobody pays for the ride... It must be profitable even though only a few pay for it. It feels bizarre being so expensive, because the city feels really cheap, in particular eating and drinking. The inner workings of this city don´t cease to amaze us. Dreaming is easier amongst the broken dreams coming back home any given weekend.

Our operative uniforms give us authority to move around among the people. The working Joe is the same anywhere. Operatives of the world, unite! I feel good with my blue overalls, my bucket, and my face grin of being totally fed up of work. We are three workers that really get tired. The first transformations are always particularly exciting, but when you are doing the fourth one you can feel the weight of work. After eight hours underground we begin to feel somewhere between tired and groggy, oniric, almost floating... Like wandering souls doing penance for wanting to build a more polite world.

Operatives KK™ and Midori™ have done the best of jobs. They are professionals with a capital P and 15 years of lasting vynil or more. Swift, almost invisible when it comes down to getting it done, intelligent and charming... Pity that you can´t see our faces this time because we sworn allegiance to deep anonimity. Thanks Dada for an unsurmountable team. Enormous is the word that describes the patience they had with Operative Atico ™. In any event, this oniric trio has been always nicely backed up, always there working under the DC connection Mr. Lobo, and in the Mandril´s headquarters by Operative R. Eternal gratitude to Ms. PTQK for letting us have her lovely spot as a Berlin base of operations. Thanks to the genius-like contributions from Operative L. in the city. And thanks to the VEGAP foundation for believing in our project, and participate contributing to finance it, and also to finance our next Latin American incursion. Really, thanks a lot! Dada energy for everyone and tons of dreaming from Berlin.

San Marcel Duchamp bless you.
