Pero la ciudad tiene algo, algo especial que la convierte en española. <o:p></o:p></SPAN> <P class=MsoNormal style="TEXT-JUSTIFY: inter-ideograph; MARGIN: 0cm 0cm 0pt; TEXT-ALIGN: justify"><SPAN style="FONT-SIZE: 11pt; FONT-FAMILY: Arial; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Times New Roman'; mso-fareast-language: EN-US">[<STRONG><STRONG><STRONG><EM><STRONG><STRONG><STRONG>De nuevo, los antiguos españoles arrasando con la cultura local</STRONG></STRONG></STRONG></EM></STRONG></STRONG></STRONG>].<o:p></o:p></SPAN> <P class=MsoNormal style="TEXT-JUSTIFY: inter-ideograph; MARGIN: 0cm 0cm 0pt; TEXT-ALIGN: justify"><SPAN style="FONT-SIZE: 11pt; FONT-FAMILY: Arial; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Times New Roman'; mso-fareast-language: EN-US">Donde este mochilero no encuentre a un vasco, será que el sitio no fue descubierto o no fue incluido aún en el mapa. Allí, y en este caso, una vasca<B style="mso-bidi-font-weight: normal">:</B> guapa, simpática, de mirada ágil, joven, encantadora con los lugareños -no siempre fácil- y <I style="mso-bidi-font-style: normal">curiosota </I>como pocas. Con ella, probó el <I style="mso-bidi-font-style: normal">cuy </I>peruano (una especie de <I>ganster</I> horneado). De ella, mantiene un grato recuerdo, y unas fotos.<o:p></o:p></SPAN> <P class=MsoNormal style="TEXT-JUSTIFY: inter-ideograph; MARGIN: 0cm 0cm 0pt; TEXT-ALIGN: justify"><SPAN style="FONT-SIZE: 11pt; FONT-FAMILY: Arial; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Times New Roman'; mso-fareast-language: EN-US">A tan sólo unos pocos kilómetros de Cajamarca, se encuentran las<B style="mso-bidi-font-weight: normal"><I style="mso-bidi-font-style: normal"> </I></B><SPAN style="mso-bidi-font-weight: bold; mso-bidi-font-style: italic">‘</SPAN><B style="mso-bidi-font-weight: normal"><I style="mso-bidi-font-style: normal">ventanillas de Otuzco</I></B><SPAN style="mso-bidi-font-weight: bold; mso-bidi-font-style: italic">’ </SPAN>que destacan en los laterales de un extenso verdoso valle. Son la necrópolis de una población pre-inca (¿cuál?), anterior a la cultura <I style="mso-bidi-font-style: normal">caxamarca</I>, de probable influencia <I style="mso-bidi-font-style: normal">wari</I>. Todo esto lo dice la documentación consultada, pero lo interesante es estar allí, bajo esos cientos de galerías y nichos individuales, que asemejan ventanas, horadados en la roca volcánica, con entradas de corte rectangular o cuadrangular.
