En ese mismo recinto seguramente años atrás hacían tornillos o materiales para <SPAN style="mso-spacerun: yes"> </SPAN>conformar las partes íntimas y estructurales de una ciudad desconocida. En esa nave<SPAN style="mso-spacerun: yes"> </SPAN>hubo, entre los obreros que en ella trabajaban, conversaciones acerca de amores fallidos, de identidades cambiadas, de futbol, de políticas ilegibles, de iglesias rígidas, matrimonios y funerales. <SPAN style="mso-spacerun: yes"> </SPAN>Entre esas paredes <SPAN style="mso-spacerun: yes"> </SPAN>hablarían de<SPAN style="mso-spacerun: yes"> </SPAN>pelotazos y agujeros negros en la nebulosa de una sociedad quebrada en sus repartos esenciales. Nadie imaginaria, pasados los años, que sobre ese mismo suelo bailarían flamenco, zapatearían exorcizando el dolor de vivir y un caballo blanco deslumbraría a los que cándidamente<SPAN style="mso-spacerun: yes"> </SPAN>acudirían a ver esa<SPAN style="mso-spacerun: yes"> </SPAN>incandescente “Carmen” de Salvador Távora.</FONT>
<P class=MsoNormal style="MARGIN: 0cm 0cm 10pt"><FONT face=Calibri size=3>Extasiado <SPAN style="mso-spacerun: yes"> </SPAN>con el logro social de llevar al arte a lugares poco favorecidos, me puse a pensar<SPAN style="mso-spacerun: yes"> </SPAN>¿Y por qué no habrá un lugar así para crear una Casa de Canto popular? Esos lugares<SPAN style="mso-spacerun: yes"> </SPAN>en América Latina donde pobres y<SPAN style="mso-spacerun: yes"> </SPAN>ricos<SPAN style="mso-spacerun: yes"> </SPAN>comparten música y poesía. Sitios legendarios gestores de grandes alianzas de clases. Los distintos de cuna<SPAN style="mso-spacerun: yes"> </SPAN>y educación <SPAN style="mso-spacerun: yes"> </SPAN>conciliados,<SPAN style="mso-spacerun: yes"> </SPAN>palpitando en un solo corazón sonoro. La música puente y<SPAN style="mso-spacerun: yes"> </SPAN>ecualizador<SPAN style="mso-spacerun: yes"> </SPAN>en pro de una sociedad<SPAN style="mso-spacerun: yes"> </SPAN>decididamente demócrata, menos demagógica con respecto a la igualdad social.</FONT>
<P class=MsoNormal style="MARGIN: 0cm 0cm 10pt"><FONT face=Calibri size=3>Salvador <SPAN style="mso-spacerun: yes"> </SPAN>Távora<SPAN style="mso-spacerun: yes"> </SPAN>con su imán fulgurante aceptó la idea de crear<SPAN style="mso-spacerun: yes"> </SPAN>un sitio para náufragos,” un día <SPAN style="mso-spacerun: yes"> </SPAN>a la semana cuando la compañía La Cuadra <SPAN style="mso-spacerun: yes"> </SPAN>de Sevilla descansara”. </FONT>

Sumada a esta razón<SPAN style="mso-spacerun: yes"> </SPAN>siniestra, está la eterna disputa de agrupaciones de vecinos que odian la música en aras de un sueño complaciente. ¿De qué le sirve a una ciudad dormir tranquila, si sus sueños parecen una muerte civil? A cierto sector ciudadano le seduce el ruido a falta de respuestas válidas y futuros inciertos ¿ Es<SPAN style="mso-spacerun: yes"> </SPAN>el<SPAN style="mso-spacerun: yes"> </SPAN>ruido un desencadenante o un anestésico? </FONT>

Buscar respuestas solidarias partiendo de un oficio solitario, poco reconocido, de una utilidad primordial. El público en general supone otro matiz al quehacer artístico. Basta leer los espectáculos<SPAN style="mso-spacerun: yes"> </SPAN>de los medios de comunicación. Lo programado siempre raya en lo snob, lo elitista, lo políticamente corregible. La manida y famosa palabra fusión ha parido una confusión de géneros alimentando únicamente a los <SPAN style="mso-spacerun: yes"> </SPAN>explotadores de la llamada corriente musical y a los gestores de una cultura de sometimiento político. La<SPAN style="mso-spacerun: yes"> </SPAN>validez de lo contestatario ha sido amordazada por<SPAN style="mso-spacerun: yes"> </SPAN>ese instrumento tortuoso de la subvención.</FONT>
<P class=MsoNormal style="MARGIN: 0cm 0cm 10pt"><FONT face=Calibri size=3>Es importante para Sevilla capital tener un lugar para la música urbana. Donde experiencias vitales, folklores,<SPAN style="mso-spacerun: yes"> </SPAN>artes y nacionalidades logren por fin<SPAN style="mso-spacerun: yes"> </SPAN>la interculturalidad. La multiculturalidad es siempre un zoológico donde cada cual sobrevive a<SPAN style="mso-spacerun: yes"> </SPAN>sus jaulas. </FONT>

La cadena es larga, inhumana, embrutecedora. La gente cree menos en el arte<SPAN style="mso-spacerun: yes"> </SPAN>.El éxito artístico parece un resultado de <SPAN style="mso-spacerun: yes"> </SPAN>eslabones de poder interesado, suerte y azar extremo .Los artistas somos en el inconsciente colectivo unos animalitos perdidos de su propia brújula.</FONT>

Podremos hallar la clave acerca del por qué las canciones se escriben si la felicidad se aleja de nuestras ventanas ¿Por qué se canta para espantar al mal? El encuentro será en ese mismo local de Hitasa donde se desarrolla el trabajo teatral de Salvador Távora con “La Cuadra de Sevilla”.
