Aparece en su blog <a href="http://emci.blogspot.com/" title="http://emci.blogspot.com/" id="link_1">Donc no he entec</a> ("Pues no lo entiendo"), en el cual reflexiona sobre su realidad económica, empresarial y personal con mucho <em>seny</em>. Como el texto está en catalán, he decidido traducirlo para ustedes (con pequeñas correcciones de estilo que eliminan redundancias). Que lo disfruten. <em> </em><blockquote><em>"Para empezar me gustaría diferenciar dos tipos de puestos de trabajo: <strong>PUESTOS DE TRABAJO QUE REQUIEREN TALENTO.</strong> Estamos hablando de una gran mayoría de lugares de trabajo en los cuales el talento y la formación son muy importantes, lugares donde los trabajadores talentosos pueden hacer ganar más dinero a la empresa que los que no lo son. <strong>Para este sector de empleados, que se produjera una reforma laboral y se flexibilizara el despido sería siempre positivo, ya que ello daría valor a sus puestos de trabajo.</strong> Por un lado, los empresarios pagarían sueldos más altos para retener ese talento; por otro, los trabajadores con talento se formarían todavía más para estar más bien pagados en su empresa, o bien para acceder a puestos mejor retribuidos en otra compañía. Por lo tanto, la flexibilidad laboral incidiría directamente en un aumento de la productividad empresarial. <strong>El proteccionismo actual hace que muchas personas con talento tengan miedo de abandonar su puesto de trabajo cuando llevan más de cinco años desempeñándolo</strong>, puesto que "perderían" mucho dinero al perder antigüedad. En consecuencia, la ambición y las ganas de formarse disminuyen en picado a partir de los cinco años trabajados en la misma empresa<strong>. PUESTOS DE TRABAJO QUE NO REQUIEREN TALENTO.</strong> Aquí es donde tenemos el problema, en aquellos lugares de trabajo en los que prácticamente no se requiere formación; donde el trabajador, por mucho que se perfeccione, no hará mejor su tarea, y en los que si de un día para otro es sustituido no pasa absolutamente nada. <strong>Todos estos trabajadores son los que nunca permitirán que se flexibilice el mundo laboral, porque tienen miedo de que el mal empresario los explote bajo amenaza de despido. Dichos empleos son los que dan vida a los sindicatos, los cuales extrapolan este problema al resto de puestos de trabajo.</strong> Nunca nos dejarán flexibilizar la contratación en el caso de la mano de obra barata; no olvidemos que SEAT (empresa alemana) o NISSAN (empresa japonesa) tienen aquí sus fábricas y no en sus países porque en su momento la mano de obra era más barata, y que hoy en día dicha mano de obra de bajo coste ya no se encuentra aquí sino en los países del este, en Oriente o en África. <strong>Por tanto, lo que deberían hacer estas compañías es llevarse sus puestos de trabajo poco cualificados a países con mano de obra económica, y nosotros, en lugar de gastarnos miles de millones de euros en subvenciones para evitar esa deslocalización, deberíamos invertir en formación y ayudar a las empresas que están creando empleos que requieren especialización y talento.</strong> De esta forma aumentaremos la productividad de nuestro país. Nadie ha dicho que sea fácil, pero sin duda este debe ser el camino. La imposición sin convencimiento no resulta efectiva a medio plazo y requiere un esfuerzo coercitivo permanente que consume preciosos recursos. Mucho mejor es buscar el cambio por la vía del ejemplo o de la diversión. Esta última opción suele ser poco utilizada pese a su efectividad. Siguiendo con dicha reflexión, me sorprende lo poco creativos que son la mayoría de negocios tradicionales españoles. Y no me refiero a creatividad en el ámbito publicitario y de marketing, sino en el propio modelo de empresa. Pocas ideas originales, escasas vueltas de tuerca a la cadena de valor, a la forma de proporcionar un servicio, ofrecer un producto o de venderlo. Quizás puedan pensar ustedes que no son tiempos para el riesgo y la innovación; muy al contrario, este es precisamente el camino a seguir. Ingenio, creatividad y chispa deben suplir la falta de recursos financieros. A veces, como en el caso de los <em>colmados</em>, basta con recuperar modelos de negocio presuntamente obsoletos. Un ejemplo de recuperación de sistemas en desuso lo constituye el <em>layaway</em>, rescatado con éxito del olvido por la cadena de supermercados estadounidense <a href="http://www.kmart.com/" title="http://www.kmart.com/" id="link_0">Kmart</a>. El <em>layaway</em> es una forma de comprar un producto sin necesidad de abonar su precio de una sola vez. A diferencia de la compra a crédito, en la que uno adquiere el artículo, se lo lleva a casa y luego lo financia en plazos establecidos,<strong> en el <em>layaway</em> el cliente no recibe el bien hasta que no ha sido pagado en su totalidad</strong>. Suele existir una pequeña comisión asociada a este tipo de compra, puesto que el vendedor debe "apartar" el artículo (de ahí el nombre, <em>"lay away"</em>) hasta que se complete el pago. En caso de que el cliente no quiera o no pueda abonar el precio total, se le reintegra el dinero entregado hasta ese momento. En una época de recesión como la que estamos viviendo, con el consumo privado bajo mínimos y el crédito congelado, el <em>layaway</em> resulta un sistema muy oportuno para reactivar las ventas. Familias con pocos recursos o sin disponibilidad crediticia pueden de esta forma acceder a la adquisición de productos de coste elevado sin comprometer su economía. Es una forma mucho más razonable de entender el consumo: "si quieres algo pero no tienes el dinero, puedes esperar, nosotros te lo reservamos". Hablamos, en definitiva, de retardar la gratificación en lugar de buscar la satisfacción inmediata.
